Delivery and returns
At Tummah Ethical Trade our delivery policy is very simple. Shipping is a low flat rate of $5 for orders up to $75. Any order totalling over $75 will be sent free of charge. These charges apply to overnight delivery nationwide!
After you place your order, you will receive an order confirmation email. All orders will be sent with Courier Post; bigger orders may be sent in multiple packages. If you order before 3pm, we will do our best to dispatch your order on the same day. Occasionally this will not be possible and when this is the case, we guarantee the order will leave us the following day. Orders are only processed Monday – Friday and any orders placed over the weekend or on a public holiday will be processed the following business day.
When your order is sent, we will send you an email confirming dispatch with the Courier Post tracking details in it. Please be aware that it may take a few hours for tracking details to update on the Courier Post website.
If your address is rural delivery, please tick the box in the checkout. This is solely for ticketing purposes. We do not charge any extra for rural deliveries. Please allow 2-3 days for rural deliveries.
In the checkout process you will be asked if you want to sign for your package. This is completely at your discretion and again there is no extra charge for this service! If you do choose to sign for your package and are not home at the time of delivery, a calling card will be left.
Note: From time to time there is the potential for delivery delays after the order has left us. This unfortunately is out of our control but if we are informed of any significant delivery delays from Courier Post we will contact you.
Orders can only be sent to New Zealand addresses. We do not offer international sales or deliveries.
We are committed to the environment and can proudly confirm that all Courier Post trackpacks are recyclable!

We are happy to offer you an exchange or store credit for incorrect sizes or change of mind within 20 days of you receiving your package. However, please select products carefully, as we cannot offer you a refund for incorrect sizing or change of mind.
Only returns that are unworn, unwashed, in original saleable condition and with the original tags still attached will be accepted. Further, can you please include the original packing slip with your return for faster processing.
To clarify, when you receive a product you are welcome to try it on and if it doesn’t quite fit, exchange it for a different size. Underwear is an exception to this rule, as mentioned below.
Any returns are to be arranged with us before you send the product back. We encourage you to return products via a tracked service, as we cannot take responsibility for items that get lost on the way back. Exchanges can be a hassle, so to make them a bit easier for you, we will happily cover the courier cost for sending out the first replacement size!
If the goods are faulty or damaged when you receive them, please contact us immediately so we can organise a solution. We will cover the courier cost for returning the product. Once we receive the return and confirm the fault we will offer you the choice of a replacement, refund, or store credit.
If we send the incorrect product or quantity, please contact us immediately. We will cover the courier cost for getting the incorrect product back to us, and if we need to will send out the correct product asap.
Due to hygiene reasons, we will only accept unopened boxes of underwear. If you have purchased multiple pairs of underwear and tried on one pair, then you can return all the unopened pairs and we will exchange them for the right size. Unfortunately, you will have to keep the pair you tried on.
